WENDY HOUSE Saturday March 20th 2010

We had a very special event on Saturday March 20th. As always we had 2 brilliant events in one, but this month was a big one! Not just do we have a special optional fancy dress but also a massive guest DJ in the Mutate room too...

This month we had one of our infamous optional fancy dress themed parties and it was a nautical theme.

Don't forget we're also now open to 3am ...

So we had 2 massive events in one, international DJs, amazing venue, freebies, prizes, hundreds of friendly beautiful people from all over the UK, a cheap Uni bar with occasional promos, fun dark requested music for 6 hours...

...and all this for just £5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the same great, party atmosphere and a night not to be missed. :-)

MUTATE WITH GRENDEL DJ SET

We had a very special MUTATE this month. We welcomed DJ VLRK, aka Grendel main man Jos Tucker, to the MUTATE floor @ The Wendy House on Sat March 20th 2010!

Hailing from Den Haag in the Netherlands, Jos needs little introduction as the mastermind behind the band Grendel and the man responsible for MUTATE anthems such as Soilbleed, Hate This, Harsh Generation, Void Malign and their storming cover of Zombie Nation.

With their current EP, Chemicals and Circuitry, riding high in alternative charts all over Europe and his tracks destroying dance floors the world over it promises to be an absolutely fantastic night of industrial madness!

As always our residents, Geoff, Gillywoo and Glenn, will be on the decks spinning our usual mix of pounding industrial & hard dance.

February 2010

WENDY HOUSE Saturday February 20th 2010

We had nearly 1000 people from all over the UK party with us and we had an amazing atmosphere throughout the night.

We over-ran past our usual 2.30am finish last month as we were having so much fun, because the dancefloor was still full, the bar was still busy and everyone else was having so much fun too. So we've had our hours extended! We now open until 3am. We still open at 9pm as always, so that's an extra half hour more Wendy House for your money and it's still just a fiver in :-)

Many hundreds joined us for another dose of Mutate. All your favourite pounding harder dance and industrial tunes.

WENDY HOUSE Saturday January 16th 2010

It might be cold outside but it'll be very warm and bouncy inside The Wendy House as always, so come out of hibernation and join us for more of your dark alternative favourite tunes and a brilliant party atmosphere, to leave you with a warm glow.

OTHER LEEDS EVENTS

It's Friday Flock, the monthly alternative night at The Subculture, Wade Lane, Leeds on Friday January 8th, which includes the comedy industrial band Mandro1d. The band members include the Wendy House DJs Nik and Glenn, who are onstage at 8.30pm.
